REASONS WHY EVERY DAUGHTER LOVES HER MOM

I am mom of a girl.I remember like yesterday when first I brought my daughter 8 years ago and not having much clue about the journey ahead.

Nothing which I read or learned from people could prepare me for the real experience. To experience motherhood and its glory you have to live it.
This is an adventure which stretched you beyond your comprehension.
When I see mom of boys and there challenges,I cant help but always wonder if raising one gender is easier than the other.I consulted the mom of kids who have both gender
and what I conclude there are equal challenged when it comes to raising both boys and girls and it changes according to different parenting style,ages,there personalities.

Boys are more adventurous and fearless and curious while girls are emotionally more expressive and like to play safe.

The two things which inspired me to write this post:

The world is constantly changing since we grow up as little girls,so as mothers.We need to give write education and knowledge  to ours girls and equip them with right tool to survive and face this technology-oriented world.

I always liked what I learnt from my mom when I was growing up and I want to pass the things to my daughter.

So let's begin now.

6 things that a Girl need from her mom.

1.She needs you to be a present and engaged mom

We know how hard it is to keep up with office work,house work and still spend quality time with kids.
But since girls are talkers and they like to talk about there day what happened in the school.No matter how busy you are always find time to look in to there eyes and truly listen to them.
But practically which sounds impossible in this busy world just find some time here and there and spend with them even if its 10 minutes.
They are becoming bigger each day when you turn them off it will create emotional distance between the two of you.

2.She wants you to believe in her

The self believes which are formed during ist 20 yrs of life are crucial for human being.These believes decides we can follow our passion and decide the path that we want to take in our life.
When she decides to do certain things or she is not willing to do other thing,just respect her and don't impose her with your own doubts and thoughts.
Always point out the things like "I like the way you completely made this salad by your own".You can handle responsibility well.She will feel proud and believe in it.
They see there image  through your eyes and feel that way.

3.She wants you to be a calm mom

A parent's anger issue affects children badly.Research shows that yelling makes them aggressive,insecure and develops anxiety and low self esteem.
I am constantly trying to  manage my anger through a lots of consistent  practice.This is beneficial both both of you.

4.She wants you to be her biggest support system

The special bond between a father and a daughter is often talked about,but for a girl the support which a mom can provide is enormous.
Girls will go through a lot of tough stages in there life including teenage(the hormonal changes),pregnancy,delivery etc.she has to go through a lot of emotional breakdown when she has to face life changing events such as break up,divorce etc.
Moms can play a role in supporting them during  this tough phase in life.It is hard enough for a girl (or a woman)when all these hormones are raging inside her and creating mood changed and other symptoms.
Instead of scolding her for her 'misbehavior' offer understanding,patience and support.

5.She need you to teach her good values and life skills.

Here are some good values that you can teach your daughter is

      Kindness and Empathy
      love for self and others
      Hardwork
      Gratitude
      Respect to self and other
      Standing for self
      Self discipline

Life skills which are must to teach her:

      Running a home
      Cooking
      Saving money
      Reading books
      Doing laundry

6.She needs you to teach her that her body is her own

This lesson which I am writing at the end is the most important for any young girl.Childhood sexual abuse is most common these days than we think.
It is very important for young girls to know the difference between "good tough" and "bad touch" because many kids don't have any idea when it happens weather they are young or they are ignorant.
Not only that they should be taught self-defense strategies,this is a must-have conversation between a daughter and a mom.

We must teach them about private parts in an age appropriate language,starting from when they are toddlers.
And the most important thing she should talk to you if experience  any such misbehavior of this sort.
